How many drinks for an outdoor summer party?
Same twenty children as the indoor page, moved outside on a hot day and run for three hours instead of two. The count is not slightly higher. It is roughly double.

Two changes, compounding
Heat adds about a quarter. The extra hour adds another full drink per child. Those multiply rather than add, which is why an outdoor summer party catches people out even when they thought they had allowed for the weather. Running out of drinks outdoors in the sun is the one shortage that ends a party early, and a case of water costs less than the cake.
This is a snack party, not a meal.
