What we know about you

Nothing. There are no accounts on this site, no cookies, no analytics and no database of visitors. The calculator works out your numbers and forgets them. Nobody here can tell you what you typed into it yesterday, including us.
What happens when you use the calculator
Your guest count, the ages, the start time and the weather go into the web address in your browser bar. That is the whole storage mechanism. The page is worked out fresh from that address every time it loads, and the result is not written down anywhere afterwards.
The practical upside is that the address is yours to keep. Bookmark it, paste it to whoever is picking up the pizzas, and it will open on the same party. The practical downside is that if you lose the address you lose the plan, because there is no account holding a copy of it.
Cookies
None are set. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics
None. No page view counter, no heatmap, no session recording, no advertising pixel. If that ever changes, this page is updated before the change goes live rather than after, and it will say what is measured and who processes it.
Fonts and other third parties
The two typefaces this site uses are downloaded once when the site is built and then served from this domain, so loading a page here does not quietly send a request to a font service. No other third party code runs on these pages.
What the server records
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary request logs in order to serve the site and defend it from abuse: the page requested, the time, your address on the internet, and which browser asked. Those are the logs every web server keeps. We do not join them to anything, mine them, or pass them to anyone.
Links out of this site
Every number on this site names its source, and the source names are links. Following one takes you to somebody else’s website, where their privacy policy applies and not ours. We link to them so you can check our arithmetic, which is not an endorsement of how they handle your data.
Two things that do not exist yet
Affiliate links. None are live on this site today. When they are, clicking one will take you to a retailer who may set their own cookie in order to credit the visit. We never see your basket, your card, or your name, only a count of how many orders followed a link. This page and the terms will say so before the first link appears.
Email. There is no signup form anywhere on this site. If one is added, this page will first say what the address is used for, how to get off the list, and who sends the mail.
Children
This site is about children’s parties, and it is written for the adults planning them. It is not aimed at children and it is not a place a child would have a reason to use. Nothing on it asks anyone of any age for personal information, so we do not knowingly hold data about a child.
Your rights
Laws in the United States, Europe and elsewhere give you the right to ask what a website holds about you, to get a copy, and to have it deleted. You are welcome to ask. The answer today is that there is nothing to send you and nothing to delete, because none of it was collected in the first place. If that ever stops being the answer, this page will explain how to make the request properly.
Changes to this page
The date at the top is the date the wording last changed. Anything that starts collecting information gets described here first and switched on second.
