How much food for a lunchtime birthday party?
A noon start is the case where a full meal is genuinely warranted. The party covers the middle of lunch, the children arrive hungry, and sending them home unfed is a complaint you will hear about. This is the same twelve child party as the afternoon page, costed as a meal.

Children eat less at a party than at a table
The per child slice counts below sit at the low end of the published range on purpose. Every catering source notes the same thing: children at a party graze between games and hold out for cake. Ordering to a normal dinner appetite leaves you with cold pizza. If you are laying the food out rather than plating it, add roughly ten per cent back.
